Overview

Creating a distinct virtual conference brand that doesn't feel "tech".

Jobber Summit is an annual virtual conference put on by Jobber. Speakers include home service professionals and keynote guests like Alex Rodruiguez and Gary Vaynerchuk.

This year the Jobber Summit team wanted a new brand style to coincide with their big goals, as well as to better reflect the personality of Jobber Summit.

Overall the theme for the brand was to have a style that felt like an agenda, gathering inspiration from old ticket stub style design layouts. Using thick bordering and grid-like layouts allowed for a very structured layout that felt like a schedule.

Highlight elements were used to give off a feeling of a piece being “marked up” by an attendee to give off importance and a sense of urgency. Using sketchy circles, underlines, and arrows allowed the brand to have a feeling of life and a “don’t forget to attend this!” personality.
