Bio

It all started with a Pokémon fan web site.

No, seriously. When I was 11 I built my first website using Microsoft Frontpage, and that was my first introduction to design. I was hooked. From that point on until 2006 I designed and coded websites, teaching myself as time went on.

In 2006 I attended MacEwan University (back in my day it was a college), graduating in 2009 with a major in Design & Illustration. From there I started my professional career as a Web Designer & Developer at a local web agency named Mediashaker, handling clients of all sizes and scope.

After a brief three month stint in Thailand (which comes with hilarious stories) I started working at Yardstick, a fast growing testing and training company. Here is where I blossomed from a Web Designer & Developer to a Creative Director responsible for multiple brands within the company and a range of responsibilities from web, to print, to digital marketing and more.

There are many things I love about design, but above all I love minimalism, strict alignment, cleanliness and simplicity. The basis of this generally comes from Swiss Design, a rather large inspiration in a lot of work I do.

Less is more.
